Our instructors specialize in teaching the fundamentals of traditional figure sculpture, anatomy, proportion, and structure. They can help you realize the personal projects you envision. Discover your untapped creativity! Rent one of our private studio spaces, or rent a locker and work in one of our communal spaces. At Teale Street Sculpture Studio you’ll find many options under the same roof.
Teale Street Sculpture Studio, formerly known as the Robert Cunningham Studio and LA Art Space, is the home to many artists producing figurative and abstract work in a variety of materials. Clay and Stone classes are scheduled Monday through Saturday, including a children’s clay class. In 2018 we moved to the Hawthorne Arts Complex where we continue to offer clay and stone sculpture classes and rent studio spaces. It’s a pleasure being part of this vibrant artistic community.
