Employment History:I started teaching in 1994 when I moved next to Maytan Music Center. I was just looking for any type of job as I was a hungry college student at the time and they needed another guitar teacher. I accepted the challenge and began my teaching career. As the years went on, I started to realize that teacher was my passion. I taught at Maytan for 20 years until they closed their doors in 2014. I moved my teaching business to my current location where I currently teach over 35 students a week.

Education & Training:My name is Eric and I am the guitar teacher at One Stop Guitar. I started playing guitar in 1988 and I never looked back. I played in many bands but as I started teaching more, I realized that was my true passion. I have been fortunate enough to be voted best music teacher in the Reno News and Review 6 out of the last 7 years. I currently teach 35 plus students a week from ages 10 to 62. I teach to the student and what they want to learn, I feel like that is the most successful way to learn the instrument. I teach all different styles of music except for classical and I also offer songwriting lessons, ear training , group lessons, music theory and skype lessons. I hope to become your guitar teacher.
